Leupold Product Announcement: RX Rangefinders
For the first time, hunters will be able to accurately determine the ballistic range to their target with a laser rangefinder - Leupold's new RX™ series of laser rangefinders. The RX's True Ballistic Range™ (TBR™) feature provides a firearm or bow shooter with the correct range, in yards, feet or meters, when shooting on inclines, rather than the straight-line distance to the target.
Available in all RX models except for RX-I, TBR incorporates an inclinometer with a rangefinder and utilizes a sophisticated ballistics algorithm to provide the corrected accurate distance, which can be significantly different than simple straight-line distance. This helps make uphill and downhill shot placement more precise. There are three ballistic settings for both rifle and bow to make each shot accurate.
Each of the four RX models features Leupold's exclusive Match 13™ Reticle System™, which offers a selection of 13 different reticles. The RX-I and RX-II models are accurate to 700 yards. Accuracy range for the RX-III and RX-IV models are 1,200 yards and 1,500 yards respectively.
RX is packed with other features including Leupold's advanced Quick Set Rotary Menu™, specially designed to make the rangefinder easy to use in all field conditions. An illuminated display makes for easy viewing in low light. Each model has multicoated optics for a crisp, bright sight picture; fast-focus eyepiece; thermometer; and rugged, waterproof construction. Fold-down rubber eyecups accommodate users with or without glasses. The RX-IV model also features a precision magnetic inductor compass that maintains high accuracy on inclines as well as flat ground.
The RX rangefinders are backed by Leupold's Full Lifetime Guarantee. For more information, contact a local Leupold dealer or Leupold & Stevens, Inc., P.O. Box 688, Beaverton, OR 97075-0688; telephone (503) 526-1400; Or, go to www.leupold.com. To locate a Leupold dealer, call (800) 929-4949.
