The Role of the Church

I have been having some intense conversations lately with a number of folks regarding the role of the Church in politics and the sorry state of the times in which we live. Never in my lifetime have there been such enormous issues with such long lasting implications being debated.

Good people are legitimately confused. Should we become activists and influence the debates by our sheer force of numbers, and our aggression? Should Christianity be "enforced" in the courts and in the schools as the only authentic way? Well, first of all, I will say without apology that Jesus is the only authentic way of Salvation, and that our God is God. God's Word is very clear on the issues we are facing.

I am not confused about whether marriage is between a man and a woman. I am not confused about the sanctity of human life. If you believe that God's Word is true and that His will is revealed clearly in His Word, you needn't be confused either.

I am going to take every opportunity that naturally presents itself to speak the truth to anyone who will listen. As citizens of this great country, we all have that right. I invite you to do the same.
