The Alpina series are one of Vixen’s top of the line roof prism binoculars. They combine an excellent optical design with fully multicoated optics and phase coated prisms, in a tough, lightweight, waterproof package at a reasonable price. Phase coating prevents halation (lens flare), and dramatically improves resolution. A bright and clear view is achieved by full multi-coating, in which muti-layer coatings are applied to the entire lens surface.
