Here are some keyboard commands commonly used in Warbirds III and their function.

• Q - Lower flaps one setting or increment
• Shift+Q - Lowers flaps all the way down
• W - Raise flaps one setting or increment
• Shift+W - Raises flaps all the way up
• G - Raise/lower landing gear
• Space bar - Wheel brakes
• E - Start/stop engine
• X - Auto pilot on/off for level flight and auto trims for power setting in use
• Ctrl+X - Auto pilot on/off for angle of flight (climb)
• F12 - Center joystick
• Z - Zoom in view
• Ctrl+Z - Zoom out view
• V - Zoom out view--or--Dive brakes (on some aircraft)
• O- Open/close bomb bay doors
• B - Drops bomb
• Enter (hold down) - Eject
• Tab - Maximize or compress flight log in bottom left corner of screen
• Ctrl+B - Bail out
• Ctrl+E - Toggle external view
• Ctrl+H - Removes most of red text in HUD
• Y - Bombardier station
• 1 - Pilot view
• 2 - Tail or rear gunner
• 3 - Nose gunner
• 4 - Right side gunner
• 5 - Left side gunner
